Eating out
Within 10 miles there are many lovely pubs and restaurants serving food, including:

In addition both Stroud and Gloucester Quays offer an array of cuisines for all tastes.
Local walks
On your doorstep there are plentiful options for local walks, which will take you out into the countryside or along the waters edge as well as to many watering holes to quench your thirst. Some of the best are in Whitminster, Frampton-on-Severn, Arlingham as well as many other small villages in the Severn Vale area. Time it right and you will catch the sensational Severn Bore (seasonal).

Attractions and places to visit
Our location in the Severn Vale, only 9 miles from the very centre of Gloucestershire and on the edge of the Cotswolds, provides an excellent base from which to explore a huge variety of places and attractions for great days out.
Nearby are Gloucester Docks and Cathedral, Slimbridge Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, Berkeley Castle, Highgrove Gardens, Woodchester Mansion, Owlpen Manor, as well as many more places of interest.
Drive a little further into Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds for the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley, Westonbirt Arboretum, Rococo Gardens, Birdland, Burford, Blenheim Palace, Lacock Abbey, Sudeley Castle and gardens, Cotswold Wildlife Park and gardens and so much more. Coupled with this, and famed for their unique characters and attractions or events; Bath, Tetbury, Cheltenham Spa, Bourton on the Water and Cirencester offer a great choice of things to see and do.
City life is close by in Gloucester and Bristol, and easily reached by bus, train or car.
